Dedicated and passionate multidisciplinary designer with extensive experience working for highly valued marketing teams, agencies and brands.
Born in Scotland, I studied Graphic Design in Glasgow and after graduation I spent the following years gathering work experience in design agencies and in-house roles, before beginning my freelance career. Enjoying the freedom of freelance, I began to travel while working from my laptop. Throughout my travels I have been able to source my own independent clients as well as working contract graphic design roles in a variety of different industries from corporate and advertising; to fashion and travel. This invaluable experience enriched my creativity as I had the opportunity to grow, gather inspiration from other cultures and further enhance my skills. My passion for communication and working with people led me to study a Post Graduate Degree in Education in 2017, now as a fully qualified teacher of Art and Design, I regularly lead creative workshops with adults and children.
I believe Art and Design have the power and responsibility to influence people, create change and make the world a better place. I care about creating work that has an impact on people’s lives. No matter what I am designing; be it an app, a brand or a creative workshop, I always keep the real people who will use, see and experience my work at the central point of my thinking. As each challenge is unique and different, I create thoughtful visual solutions by adapting my design skills to match the requirements of the brief, whether that involves use of the latest computer software or a more conceptual hand-on approach.
